  This is a HORRIBLE business. I usually do not write reviews, but these guys were so bad I just had to write.
  
  I also think that the positive reviews listed here are fake! There are several of them just in the last few weeks, and all of them are from people that have just written this ONE review. I expect people to either regularly write reviews, or be like me: you only write them when a business really ticks you off. So I believe the company employees went online and created their own positive reviews.
  
  The EcoFirst representative came around in our neighborhood and told me how they had quarterly service and would come out in between for free. After I signed up, they came and treated my property for the first time and it did not even take him 5 minutes to complete. When I asked the tech why he did such a quick and not through job he said they would come back if needed for free. The original rep had told me they would walk my property ½ acre) and look and treat those fire ant mounts that I have had problems with, but this guy said that the next person to come out would do that. I also asked why he did not treat around the windows, or the ground, and when he was planning to treat the interior window sills and door frames and he was rude and short and sneered that he had other appointments to go to and “Not to worry”. I already wanted to cancel right then and there.
  
  After having ant spiders and scorpions continue to roam my house I called to have them come back and they told me they had another 30-day treatment that I had to pay for. So I learned that they snug in a 5th treatment per year, that they charge for, that is hidden in the fine print, and that you need to pay for an additional treatment on top of the quarterly payments. The representative never mentioned that extra service and that the customer needed to pay for it, but instead had told me repeatedly how any in-between-quarterly treatments were free of charge.
  EcoFirst Austin already has one complaint to the BetterBusinessBureau in the last months, and I am getting ready to file my complaint as well. There are also several bad reviews on yelp for this company.
  
  It is a shame that companies like EcoFirst are allowed to be in business!
